COMMERCIAL CONCRETING

Most residential driveways take 1–3 days to pour and finish, plus a curing period before the driveway can take vehicle weight — typically around 7 days for light use and 28 days for full strength.

Yes. Drainage is assessed as part of every residential quote, particularly for older homes where existing falls or drainage may need correcting before the new slab is poured.

LABOUR HIRE & PLANT HIRE

Concrete reaches enough strength for foot traffic within 24–48 hours, is generally safe for vehicles after about 7 days, and reaches full design strength at approximately 28 days.

Yes, reinforcement (steel mesh or bar) is used where required by the design or engineering specifications, particularly for driveways, civil works, and commercial slabs.

Cracking is most commonly caused by poor site preparation, inadequate reinforcement, incorrect curing, or ground movement. We assess site conditions, drainage, and reinforcement needs upfront to minimise the risk of future cracking.
